Hitchcock film explored in STEPs summer camp at IUSB

Message to a Murderer is a short film based on a scene from Alfred Hitchcock’s Rear Window, shot, edited, and now distributed by a handful of  STEPs summer camp participants on the campus of IUSB.

STEPs (Summer Teen Enrichment Programs) is an activity-centered summer program for high IUSBstepsschool students entering grades 9-12. Taught by IU South Bend faculty, each of our one-week intensive learning “camps” introduces students to a different area of college study through lively, hands-on projects.

This camp is the latest iteration of the Media Camp that I have run in summers past at Penn High School with the goal of teaching young people how to tell stories using images and sound.
